I always associated China with unfriendly cities, smoggy skies and grey buildings. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Within these cities were some of the friendliest and most accommodating people I have ever met. Outside the sprawling cities I was overwhelmed by the beauty of China. The misty and otherworldly peaks of Zhangjiajie, the unreal colours of Jiuzhaigou and endless rolling hills of Guilin. Here’s a little glimpse of our beauty filled trip in 2014.

I have always assumed the same of travel in China as you did before your trip. Your pictures are incredible and unexpected, I think China has just moved up a bit higher on my list!
